Toler meet bottle

On his three week birthday, the nurses thought they might try to introduce a bottle to Toler.  Typically preemies start to try a bottle between 33 & 34 weeks gestational age.  With Toler hitting 33 weeks today, this is a very positive milestone for him and for us.

Mom did a fantastic job giving Toler his first bottle, and Toler showed excitement, confusion, and a willingness to try something entirely new.

What the heck am I to do with this?

Oh, not so bad

Now to be fair, the little guy was only able to put away 2 cc's of food, but it is a great start for Toler and over the next couple of weeks we expect more progress.

Love,
Steve, Emily and our thirsty little Toler
