Toler meets Grandpa and Grandma Smith

Toler was very excited to meet his Grandpa and Grandma Smith today!  Toler has been waiting for a few weeks, however, Grandpa has been waiting about a decade so I wasn't sure if the hospital would survive their meeting.  It did.  Both Grandma and Grandpa Smith spent some quality time with Toler in the NICU today and plan on holding the little guy this weekend to love on him.

Mom and Dad also got the proofs from Toler's photo shoot as mentioned last night.  Let's just say they are almost as good as Dad's shots, except they are taken by a professional...in a studio...with a camera slightly more technologically advanced than a iPhone.  So yeah, pretty close second.  Needless to say Mom was very happy with the shots of her little man and we have more than enough material for the birth announcement.  Aw shucks, I ruined it, now you know he's born.

 

So sleepy

Toler's care schedule is now subject to change based on how well he continues to do with his bottle feeds, but for the interim he is fluctuating between 3 and 4 hours apart.  As such, Toler is in as much need of rest as ever.

The whole crew is road weary and ready for some sound sleep.  But tomorrow we will be ready for a new day and some pics with the Grandparents.
