One month anniversary in Denver

Our one month anniversary in Denver brought record low temperatures (~10 below zero) but the NICU was cozy and warm.  Toler is continuing to grow at an absurd pace (~2 oz daily) and is now at 4lbs 14oz.  He was successful with the bottle feed tonight, taking 26 cc's (up from 16 cc's just last night).

Go Tar Heels!
Toler was sad to see his Aunt Anna for the last time in Denver, but reminded her that he is coming home soon and cannot wait to meet the rest of the family.  To brighten Aunt Anna up, Toler made sure to cheer for the Tar Heels in her honor (thanks  Grandma Glenda).  Toler's Tar Heel roots run deep but I'm confident you'll see mini-Steve in more Green & White soon enough.

Tomorrow Toler will be four weeks old and 34 gestational weeks old.  We are so happy for his continued growth and development and are beginning to see our way home.

That is all for updates tonight, but will leave you with 'lil Toler's adventure with Dad bottle feeding pictures.

Really, you gave me to this guy?
Okay, not so bad
Alright I'm sold
Keeping warm in frigid Colorado.

Love,
Steve, Emily and our little Tar Heel Toler
